Show Countdown:
British Pavilion Organiser Overview

ILM Exhibitions was established back in December 2008 as an actual division within International Labmate.

However, ILM Holdings has been organising, participating in and providing assistance for numerous exhibitions for the last 20 years.

listed below are some of the other exhibitions which ILM Exhibitions organises:-

CEM
, the International Conference on Emissions Monitoring, has grown in strength and popularity since its inaugural meeting in 1997.

CEM 2009 run by ILM Exhibitions will continue this position as the major international conference and exhibition specifically designed to cover the subject of source emissions monitoring in its entirety.

CEM2009 includes 5 sessions:

  1. Emission factors and inventories - looking at the challenges of providing accurate data to meet national and national requirements
  2. Certification and accreditation - these systems are shifting from being something desirable to something almost mandatory in many areas
  3. PM10/2.5 - fine particles are possibly the greatest challenge to many countries at the moment with many EU member states and individual states in the USA facing the fact that they cannot comply with the tightening air quality standards without a better understanding of the speciation.
  4. Advanced techniques - as legislation calls for increased accuracy despite decreasing concentrations, advanced techniques offer a solution to this challenge
  5. Case studies of standards in practice - just how easy it is to use CEN/ISO standards in the real world?

But the conference programme is only one part of the CEM2009 experience. The posters and extensive exhibition offer delegates the chance to chat and interact with those who may be able to answer the very questions that would solve the challenges they face.

The social agenda is designed to maximise the time delegates have free to ask awkward questions, handle equipment and to relax into the extended network of the now well established CEM-community. And where better to do that than on the beautiful shores of Lake Maggiore. For more information go to www.cem.uk.com

MCERTS visitor numbers for this year's Air Monitoring event grew by 10% in comparison with the 2007 figures.

Expressing his delight with the success of the event, MCERTS organiser Marcus Pattison from ILM Exhibitions said, "Prior to the event we were concerned that visitor numbers might be reduced as a result of the recession, so it was very pleasing to note that delegate numbers have continued to grow."

"I think there are a number of reasons for the success of the MCERTS events. Firstly, they have become an established red letter date in the diaries of everyone involved in air monitoring because they provide an opportunity to catch up on the latest regulatory information; secondly visitors are able to view all of the latest monitoring technologies; thirdly, process operators can network with people that are facing the same challenges in their working lives and finally, the more recent emphasis on operator self-monitoring means that process operators have to have a greater understanding of the monitoring requirements.”

Doug Wilson, Head of Monitoring and Assessment at the Environment Agency, expressed his delight with the success of the 2009 event, adding: “It was very pleasing to note the high level of participation in the MCERTS 2009 Conference, Workshops and Exhibition. Our objective to continuously improve the quality of monitoring combined with the increased emphasis on operator self-monitoring means that events such as this provide an excellent opportunity for all stakeholders to meet and discuss issues of common concern.”

The next MCerts event will be held on 6th and 7th April 2011. www.mcerts.uk.com

WWEM is a specialist event for companies who provide products and services for the Water, Wastewater and Environmental Monitoring community.

The 10th and 11th November 2010 will be the fourth time this dedicated biennial event will be held by ILM Exhibitions. WWEM has evolved into a very successful event since its conception back in June 2005.

The event has seen a tripling of exhibitor floor space and almost a quadrupling of visitors coming through its doors, placing it as the number one event for Water/Wastewater and Environmental Monitoring professionals to attend.

WWEM is more than just an exhibition it is a learning experience, visitors have the opportunity to participate in, and attend, over 70 walk-in walk-out workshops on case studies, problem solving, and new applications.

They will also gain a wealth of information on modern regulation, MCERTS schemes for water and soil monitoring and be able to network freely around the shows.

WWEM is a very specialist event, supported by all the major product and service providers for the Water, Wastewater and Environmental Monitoring industry and therefore every stand, every workshop and every conference session will be of interest to every visitor passing through its doors.
